Straight from Rio de Janeiro, Haroldo Mauro, Jr. is back for a concert of his acclaimed release Bossa na Pressao, Tampa Bay's own Brazilian sextet, O Som Do Jazz opens the concert with a variety of bossa nova, MPB and jazz.

Bossa Nova Clinic
Rio de Janeiro pianist Haroldo Mauro is giving a free clinic at St. Petersburg College on Thursday, July 26 at 4:30 PM. Musicians are invited to attend and participate. A bassist is needed in particular.
His clinic focuses on authentic bossa nova approaches. HS 117 is the room.
St. Petersburg College is located at the corner of 66th St. & 5th Ave. North in St. Petersburg. The HS building is about mid-campus.
